Microneedling or Collagen Induction Therapy is an innovative skin rejuvenation treatment that can improve the overall appearance of the skin with little to no downtime. Microscopic channels are created through the surface of the skin, which releases the skin’s natural growth factors promoting stretch mark and scar healing as well as hyper-hypo-pigmentation repair. As new tissues are formed, micro-needling is also an effective way to treat crepey skin, eye wrinkles, fine lines and dullness.

A treatment plan just for you will be discussed to address your specific concerns and after care to achieve and maintain your results. With microneedling, these micro-channels are created, ensuring the delivery of effective peels, vital nutrients and/or growth factors. Commit to 3-6 treatments, depending on issue to address, spaced about a month apart for ultimate results. Results will be noticed within a few weeks or less and will continue for up to 6 months after you complete the series.

After applying a topical anesthetic cream (if necessary), an electric handheld device is used to administer variable depths and speed of needling application. Serums/growth factors are applied shortly thereafter.

You will look and feel as though you have a light sunburn for a period of 24 hours or less. We ask that you avoid any direct sunlight during this time. Cool towels may be used to ease any mild discomfort. Depending on your individual treatment, around day 3 you may experience some peeling.

Growth factors such as polypeptides are beneficial for the skin to stimulate fibroblasts to create more collagen and elastin. Similar to “PRP” microneedling or the “Vampire Facial”, yet non-invasive and more cost efficient. When applied to the skin after microneedling the collagen producing effects are amplified, without the need to draw blood.
